The complaint

The one and only time I have ever been moved to make a "formal" complaint i.e one where I really wanted to hear a response to tell me that things might improve.

Following last years experience when someone from the council used a chainsaw right through the period of reflection, today this guy used his industrial scale leaf blower in front of "The Calling" where many folk were standing hoping for a minutes silence at 11am to reflect on the sacrifice that so many people had made on their behalf.

I had a call back this afternoon with what seemed like a genuine apology and with the explanation that guys hadn't heard the gun go off from the castle because they were wearing protective ear guards.

I suggested that next year they may want to just look at their watches.
