Such a difficult day!

Some days are full of smiles and sugar; some days are full of the most unbearable tantrum-nonsense from the Dolls. Today has been one of the latter.

After around forty minutes of meltdown from Lucy (further amplified by the contributions from Izzy), Lucy eventually confessed 'Mama, I just want to sit on the toilet and tell lucy riding-hood stories'.

So...the last half an hour has been spent with Lucy Doll sitting on the toilet and Mama recounting over and over the story of Little Lucy Riding Hood (a sort of postmodern, intertextual mish-mash of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Little Red Riding Hood and general nonsense involving Lucy & Izzy from the Doll House all mixed up together).

Finally, Mama gets a cuddle, and things are quiet again...until next time...
