Beer Trap

Jo's friend Anne told her that the way to keep slugs off our seedlings is to make a beer trap. Simply pour some beer into a saucer at ground level so that the slugs have easy access. I was skeptical. It seemed like a wast of good beer to me. Well, this morning there were a couple of dozen drowned (but happy) slugs in the saucer. It worked!

After very little sleep last night work was very trying today. It was still very busy and I couldn't slow down. The reason I got very little sleep was because I had to keep going all night to reload and restart the printer. And this evening it is still going!

So tonight is going to be disturbed as well.

I will have to catch up with the sleep on the weekend.
