Last Soccer Games

Today marked the last soccer games of the regular season for all 3 boys (they still have 2 tournament coming up, though). We've made the decision today to not do the competitive winter league because it would involve traveling out of town every Saturday and we feel we need a break. Gary was super-Dad today. He took Loren to Saturday School and took the boys to all 3 games. Saturday School introduced Loren's Exhibition project that he has to present to a panel of judges next month. He will be interviewing a person who's been through something significant in history, how it affected them and use a tri-fold board to display it along with the written report (so it should be easier than last years elementary school graduation project). I felt really bad missing the boys games AND Saturday School, but due to my health and wanting to stay and help my dad, I decided to miss. Hopefully they'll forgive me :( Loren's team won 9-0 (close game) and Liam's team tied 2-2. I heard his was really exciting! AND....Landon scored 2 goals!!!

I like this photo that Gary captured of Landon because his hand is flying up in the air when he was kicking the ball, so it was a funny (somewhat awkward) shot. Landon has the nickname 'Mr. Speedy' on the team because he's a fast runner and can get from one side of the field to the other to block the goal before anyone else. I love my Mr. Speedy :D
