Busy Boy

... still no internet.

The proverbial kinda hit the fan today at work. We hit a busy spell a couple days earlier than forecast, and it just so happens that I already had a huge lot of paperwork to do for my newbies' probation period.

By lunch time I was tearing my hair out. Mathew met me and we went to Roath lake. Somewhat amusingly, a very curious goose ambled over to the car to peek in the window. I was scared to open the door in case I knocked it out! Eventually Mathew reversed a few feet, we got out, and the goose lost interest in us. I reckon it had come to realise that these big metal tins usually deliver food - must've been gutted when we didn't have any!

My lunch hour (well 45 minutes) whizzed by, and I didn't really get the chance to calm down, or to take as good pics as I wanted with the new lens. I quite like this one though, and there are others on the flickr, including this moss-covered roof.

Although I hadn't managed to relax at lunch as much as I'd hoped, things were better after I got back, and I actually got some of the paperwork done :-D
