Oi! Get off my 100!
I have finally reached the landmark 100 blips when I get a shiny camera and, for a day, a big red balloon.
I kind of expected to fall out of love with lugging my camera around with me everywhere I went and being called 'nutter with a camera'. However, not a day goes by when I don't enjoy blipping. Sometimes inspiration gets up and goes, only to be found in the most unexpected of places. I'm looking at clouds differently, flowers, vegetables, insects. In fact, you name it and I'm looking at it in a different way.
Other things have slipped a little in the past 100 days and I do intend to readjust so that I can fit everything in. My health is coming back and soon I'll be running and biking again. I also hope to get out in the kayak a bit. I don't want to spend my summer in front of a computer.
I don't expect anyone will see any difference - apart from Canterbury and Cousteau.
I had no idea what to blip for my 100th and was just messing around on the beach with Cousteau. He found my 100 quite interesting and sniffed, prodded and then - horror of horrors - peed on it! No respect, these young ones. I just found this shot amusing and after all, that's what it's all about (for me, anyway).
My philosophy is that if I enjoy something and it gives me more than it takes, then carry on doing it. Blip gives me a lot of pleasure and I suspect it will for quite some time.
Thanks to the blip team for making it such an easy site to use and to Joe for having the idea in the first place.
Thanks to all those who have viewed and/or commented on any of my photos.
Thanks to all those who have posted photos that I have viewed or commented on.
Off to wrap some Chistmas pressies (only 27 sleeps) and make some cards.
5 days - no complaining.
