By Saturday, the Man Flu had really kicked in. Work was awful, I more or less made it through the day though - luckily it's an early finish on a Saturday.

Got home about three, and zonked out on the couch til after 6. Had txt my mum to ask her to pick something up for me for Mathew's birthday (I told her what, it wasn't one of those 'pick a thoughtful gift' moments) but she didn't get the txt til she was already back.

I popped out to Tesco (I never go alone if Mathew's around) to pick up the stuff myself - Super Mario Bro's for the Wii, and Joe McEldery (I hear your lol's!)

Came back to what I think was an awesome dinner from Nell - the man flu had numbed my taste buds! Starter was pears & stilton on ciabatta (I could taste the pears :-D). Next up was a chicken & apple kinda casserole type thing with a cider sauce, cous-cous, asparagus and diced bacon. And a braw steamed pudding with ice cream to finish with. She's a good cook, is Nell.

After all this, I felt a lot better :) X Factor was a bit pants though (although the wee boys improved again, and Aiden was back on track. Amazed that I liked Paige so much!)

Oh - broadband had been briefly back on, but then died again before I could get this pic of Nell up. It's not as good as I hoped, but best I could do on the day!
