Oxford..
This was meant to be cracking shot of the beautiful city of Oxford. Instead it was taken out of the window of a moving car as we tried to find a parking space so I could pop into the town centre for two minute to take a picture and pick something up. Alas was not meant to happen so this is as good as it gets.
We were in Oxford to go to the John Radcliffe again to see a plastic surgeon about Alfies scar on his neck from the traceostomy he had as a baby. It had a granuloma on it when he was decanullated which has now glued itself onto his chest. As he has got older, slimmer and longer of neck it pulls more and more and can bother him. I normally cope with the hospital as all the appointemnts are progressive but talking about surgery and the problems he may under anesthetic really upset me. Also how much they will have to do because of its position. It has been too long since his last surgery and it has become scary rather than routine now. I know it is for the best and he will be fine but.....
