Blustery

Decent day in amongst all the hail, wind, rain and general Scottish meteorological shenanigans.

Some nice children's activities again with a playdate and lunch after nursery. Some equally nice grown-up activities later on with a bit of theatre in the evening - Enron at the Kings, impressive and dazzling but a little overlong and did it really take two and a half hours to tell me that Corporate Crime = A Bad Thing?

On the music front:

New - one or two terrifc downloads from the wonderful Boomkat site, in particular the new EP from Jan Jelinek under his Farben alias. German minimal techno doesn't get much better.

Old - vintage Bowie, the classic Hunky Dory, including 'Kooks', one of the best songs ever written about having kids
