The show must go on

This was one of many photographs I took today of the Minack Theatre near Porthcurno. This theatre is truly spectacular, beautifully caved on the side of a cliff looking out over the Atlantic. I went once before about 10 years ago however it was brilliant to be back as I rook more interest in the history of how Rowena Cade built the theatre and how strong and creative she was. I have never seen a production there and I must admit seeing a production of Shakespeare would be spectacular. I overheard a guide say that only two matinee performances have been cancelled in the 2010 season due to torrential rain, otherwise all performances have gone ahead as scheduled. Very impressive.
