Old but new

I picked up a new old glider today - a Solar Wings Scandal. Ebay special.
My old one is so mouldy it left a spore trail in the sky. This one was made where I used to work. In fact I was still there when it was made in May 96. I like to think I played a small part in the final design as I spent a few days out with Darren test flying the prototypes and making alterations. In reality I was just having a damn good skive and getting paid for it. In the name of R&D I made one from scrap tubing with an unsellable asymmetrically coloured sail for test purposes and I thought I'd eventually be able to sneakily claim ownership. But NICK CHITTY borrowed it and smashed it up and that's the last I saw of it.
