Sugar

On our way down to Santa Barbara we stopped at the Madonna Inn for a bite to eat. The iced tea I ordered came with this stick with crystalized sugar on it. This has to be the most tastefully bizarre hotel that I've been in. As kids our dad would take us there just to use the toilets even if we didn't need them at all. The toilet rooms are just too bizarre to discribe. The suite my wife and I stayed in over 10 years ago was something else. The ceiling was painted a bright pink and the floor had a bright pink floral design. The walls however were made up of boulders and when you went into the bathroom is was like you were walking into a cave. Inside the bathroom was a large carved out boulder with taps on it. The water would come spiralling down into the basin on a carved out run. On the other side was a smaller cave which led to the shower. When you took a shower it was like you were showering under a heated waterfall. Just an amazing place! (If you can afford it!)
