Where's Molly?

Poor Molly has had to go (again) to the Vet Hospital. An ear infection has not cleared up, and she needs a general anaesthetic to allow the vet to examine the source of the problem. So she has been away since early this morning.

When they are together, Jess barely seems to tolerate this youngster who thinks she owns the place; but with Molly not here, Jess has been subdued all day. I've just taken a call from Mrs jml to say that Molly is OK, that the nurses have been fussing over her, and that they will both be home soon.

At this, Jess perks up and looks expectantly at the door. It's as if she understood the phone call perfectly, and anticipates them arriving at any moment.
