Just call me Dawn, Domestic Goddess

When I am feeling down, I love to get into the kitchen and cook. I crack my Ipod up, with my randomly varied mixture of music and make things. I usually like to make meals, rather than sweeties, but someone gave us some windfall apples, and its getting near Christmas, so a batch of pastry seemed like a good idea.

The result, 2 family sized apple pies and a batch of mince pies and a happy bunch who were eating fresh apple pie and ice cream within 10 minutes of the first one being out of the oven, and warm mince pies. And the best(?) bit. I can't stand mince pies, so I don't eat them!!

Gotta dash now, I'm making roast beef and all the trimmings, because beef was on special offer at Morrisons!
