Worth the Wait

All of God's nature teaches us to wait.

Like the dormant seed patiently awaits the return of spring. The songbird watches for each new dawn. Even the lowly caterpillar abides her time within a lonely chrysalis chamber until new wings form and signal the moment of her emergence.

Some things are worth waiting for.

Just like this. You have seen this flower for the first time, the Kangaroo Paw. It's been a friendly face each new day to me but her full bloom is taking forever.

Alas, the first blossom had emerged! This was what I was waiting for. How long did it take?

Too long.

But it's worth the wait.
