Autumn ambers

I'm starting to lean towards the more literal American term, "fall", because that is more or less the only thing going on in my garden this month.

Dread descends each morning as I open the curtains, to see yet more leaves that need raking up. Looking on the bright side, I'll have some great leaf mulch for the plants come the spring. AND the colours make for a vibrant blip...
