A wet day in Kielder Forest

Great fun today with Alice and Thomas doing all sorts of stuff. Ice skating, snow tubing, walks through the "enchanted forests", meeting some strange guy with a beard and red suit etc. etc.

i know that it is still November and the mention of the C word evokes such responses as commercialism etc. but I have to say that this is one of the few Christmas events that I actually feel adds to the fun rather than leaving parents feeling ripped off.

I had fun anyway.
