Pond, Lick Creek Summit, Payette National Forest,

A field trip to the top of Lick Creek, 6987 ft. elevation. This area burned last year. A large wildfire. Recovering nicely as nature tends to do. This year there are two fires nearby this location putting enough smoke in the air to block views of the mountains from the valley. Good for the lungs.
