A ray of light

Today has been dull. Very dull. Stuck at my desk. Working. Looking out of the window onto a cold, rainy day. Overcast and foreboding. Not had time to go out and take any photos, and why would you want to on a day like this. I was sitting there when all of a sudden the sun managed to break through the heavy clouds. This was my only chance of taking a photo of something beautiful outside. Powered up the X1, F16, 100ISO bam. The happy sun being suffocated by the boring clouds. Oh well, at least I saw some sunshine today.
