Orion and the Pleiades Cluster
A I put Bonnie outdoors for one last "bio-break" before turning in for the night, I noticed that the sky was relatively clear and full of stars.
A rare sight here in the Pacific Northwest...
So I assembled my gear and took a few shots with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II and the Canon 16-35 f/2.8L wide angle lens. The full sensor 5D coupled with the 16mm gave me a very wide angle view allowing me to include the constellation Orion in the lower left with the Pleiades Cluster in the center.
