Black Swan

Today a couple of us went down to check out the Wetlands for birds. The tide was partly out so that was good, and we did see lots of birds. But they are just a bit far away, and obviously I need my teleconverter on.
We saw swallows, pied stilt, white faced heron, Australasian Shoveller, Pukeko, Shags, Paradise Shelduck, Australasian coot, Canada Goose, Scaup, and of course the swans.
The swans came close in, but the other birds kept their distance.
Wiil have to return another day with teleconverter.
