Muffins

I made very pretty banana nut muffins today. I gave my son one but he came straight back with it and said this is disgusting!!!! And spit it out.
uhhhhh what - that cant be.... I found the recipe online as one of the best banana muffins bablblalallbaabbb hmmmmm dont know what I did wrong but actually they taste like soap !!!
