the engine hall at the ford museum. i came here to check out the noguchi/fuller exhibit, but was a little disappointed by it. i wandered out of the exhibit and into the museum's collection of gigantic engines. this one was by far the largest. according to the museum, "this massive gas and steam engine is one of the nine that originally supplied the power for Henry Ford's Highland Park automobile factory. Built in 1916, the engine developed 6,000 horsepower."
