Back-lit beech leaves in the Lake District

I took this photo while on a walk between Witherslack and Whitbarrow Scar in the Lake District National Park. The colour of the beech leaves was enhanced by the back-lighting and, for me, was autumn at its best. The weather gods were kind to us, enabling us to do much of the walk in short sleeves and enjoy clear views to the Yorkshire Dales, Howgills and central massif of the Lake District.
