Conservation work

I'm always 'ooo'ing and 'ahhh'ing at all the colours that are thrown at us in Autumn. Just beautiful...

This weeks' Conservation society trip was to an RSPB nature reserve where we were ferried across a thin stretch of water onto an island where birds and other wildlife nest and feed. We spent the day clearing vegetation from the waters' edge so birds can feed and be seen by watchers.
