Getting ready for the Ball...
My prince and I met with the other minstrels to prepare our silly songs...
...dear Barb put my hair in rollers and wrapped me in a kerchief...the old fashioned road to beauty...

...I keep thinking I will grow out of this...when will I grow out of this?

Another trip to Mossy Rose with my Beloved Prince who smiled as I no longer resisted, Annie, have you noticed that you are downtown with curlers in your hair??? and purchased just the right accessories to accompany the purple velvet dress, all ready for the Ball. A mask, it really does need a mask, this *is* a masquerade ball, after all!

Surely this is a phase and I WILL grow out of it

Oh dear, the space between those lovely gloves and the little puffy sleeves seems to be filled with grandma arms!! Oh dear...
...my Prince to the rescue!! ...no one is going to realize we cut up a pair of support hose to fill the space between my gloves and sleeves...will they???

Tiara, dress, gloves, jewelry, stockings, shoes, support hose,
mask...check.

I think I'm almost ready....

....for a nap.
