Sandside Swan

It seems to be a sign of the advancing season when the swans appear on the estuary at Sandside. There were three there early this morning.

I've blipped this one for the simplicity of the image, lots of water with the woods and low hills on the opposite side of the Kent estuary.

With Wifie away, I had no-one to advise on what to choose for a blip. I was tempted to blip this one of Arnside Tower Farm. I was there at dawn and the mist from the valley below crept up and enveloped the farm.

After days when the sun never appeared, it was a beautiful still morning with hardly a cloud in the sky early on.
