PONTE VECHIO

Fascinating covered bridge more than 600 years old.
Lined with jewelry shops...mostly gold.
So many beautiful images of Italy, but I think this one will be framed and grace my study walls.
Highly recommend anybody interested to read up on the history of this structure.

To add to my "memory bank" of this trip, I should say that I was standing looking out from inside the world famous Uffizi Musuem where I had stood and cried a moment earlier.....humbled in front of Botticelli's "Spring".

I wonder what those Renaissance artists would think of digital photography?
