Confused Flower
Yes, 85 degrees today in November. The flowers have started to bloom again. I took this pic this morning while I was watering my parents backyard. From the look of it, you'd think it was spring. The flowers are confused.
The swelling in his leg has definitely decreased today, so that's good news. Been trying my best to make sure he keeps it elevated. He's on his third John Grisham book already. I was glad they had plenty at the library....that outta keep him from being too bored and a bit distracted from the pain if possible :) The nurse came, drew his blood today, and all looks good. Yay!
Today felt rushed....picked the kids up from school, rushed them through homework, rushed through the pharmacy, rushed Landon to soccer and Gary rushed Liam to gymnastics. Then we met back up for a rushed dinner at my dad's because it was so late. Gary took the boys home for rushed showers and a late bedtime and I finished up around his house and made sure he was comfortably settled for the night.
======================================
I skipped a blip photo for yesterday, so here is my mini-journal for yesterday. I figured my facebook status says it all:
"I realized I must be tired when I watch Landon walk into class with saggin pants and wondered why. Checked the tag and he was wearing Liam's clothes to school."
Yesterday also included someone whom I didn't know call me 5 times and text messaged me three times in a matter of a couple hours. His wording was along the lines of "You've earned a $7000 grant from the US Government, how soon can you go down to Western Union and collect your money?" He wouldn't take no for an answer and kept beeping in while I was trying to talk to my dad's doctor and while I was at the boys school. I finally had to call the Federal Trade Commission and report his scam. One number was from the British Virgin Islands and the other 4 numbers didn't show where the calls were from! I wonder how many people he's duped.
