the perks

This is Carl standing in the first project he worked on at Arc'teryx - their climbing gym - when he came back there to work. Not a bad thing to have to start with.

Had a day at "work" today (although it isn't "work" technically - I'm observing, helping, asking questions but definitely not earning - something I had to explain very carefully at the border to the Canadian immigration official...).

Bloody interesting place - seems to be a great combination of the organised, the chaotic, the human and industry.

Signed my Non-Disclosure Agreement, signed away the first-born-child, and then had the tour and got to help out with a project Carl is working on for most of the day. Was nice to be in their workshop, working with Billy the engineer and to end up with two sets of working prototypes by the end of the day.
