white light white heat
I read a book recently called Blindness, by a Portugese writer called Jose Saramago. About an epidemic of contagious blindness in which the victims, instead of just seeing black, see only white. Throughout the entire story none of the characters are given names, giving the feeling to the reader of a loss of a sense. An amazing, moving and at times disturbing novel that will stay with me for a long time.
A distinctly non-blip day today. For what seems like forever I've been leaving the house in the dark and leaving work in the dark, too busy to take a lunch hour and getting increasingly frustrated with the lack of daylight photo opportunities.
Anyhoo...nearly the weekend, promised myself to make more of an effort to get the camera out during the day.
