sparklers in the garden and fireworks from the win

spent the evening after bathtime with hannah watching fireworks from her bedroom window.

she's spent most of the year telling us that she doesn't like fireworks because they're too loud. that's not, however, what she's told me tonight. she had a real look of wonder on her face. "oooo, wow, look, blue, that's my favourite colour, oooh multi-coloured, that's my next best favourite colour"

lets hope they don't keep her and alice awake. we could do with a good night. alice has had a terrible temperature for a couple of nights (peaked at 40). seems to be out of the woods but still isn't settling.
