Bobbing for Apples

The boys had a blast at a friend's BD party who was turning 3. They combined it with a Halloween party as well. They bobbed for apples, had a competition for wrapping someone like a mummy the fastest and played musical chairs. The musical chairs 'incident' had us practically rolling on the floor laughing. First off, Landon had no idea what musical chairs was. He just started walking around with everyone wondering what they were doing and even tried to add a chair so that everyone would have enough chairs to sit in. HA! The funniest part, though, came when Lucas the birthday boy flopped himself down on the ground face first when his chair got 'stolen' by a little girl. At three, he also lacked understanding of the game. The sheer speed and force at which he threw himself down on the floor upset created an uproar of laughs (after seeing that he was perfectly o.k. of course). The poor guy I'm sure would have preferred sympathy, but there was no way to contain the humor in it! He did it a second time, as well, and I believe his mama caught that one on camera. When he bobbed for apples, he got it and went to town munching on it. When Landon bobbed for apples and won a prize and when they held out a plastic bag for him to choose one, he put his half-bitten apple in it instead. Oh the joy that children provide!
