Songs from the Woods

As we were taking the air through the policies this afternoon, accompanied by The Wonder Dog and his lady companion Misty The Collie we happened upon this Woodland Nymph collecting boughs for the long winter evenings.


Ever watchful and shy she stayed for a brief moment then vaniished with a peel of laughter and a left us with a song........ drifting through the clearings.



On reflection she did look a little like our neighbour Christine but these woodland creatures are well known shapeshifters, so who knows?
