"Remember, remember...."

So Bonfire Night is upon us again. It's a typical Bonfire Night so far - its raining heavily, it's very wet and it's cold. I can already hear fireworks going off. There will be many more.

A boy was on the street with a guy asking "penny for the guy?".....some things never change.

I always wonder - who else thinks of the history behind tonight?

I live in Salford, close to Ordsall Hall, and Guy Fawkes Street is next to it.
Some elements of history say that Fawkes plotted at Ordsall Hall. Did he? Who knows. Salford council saw fit to name the street after him and that's all that matters.
