Yesterday afternoon, walking through town, having said goodbye to all of our many houseguests, mat's phone rang: 'Sorry, there's been a confusion about the London gig...'
What resulted was a last-minute cancellation / postponement that resulted in a highly unexpected and very necessary day off!
Today we rested all day and emerged in the evening to cook dinner for the delightful Ella and Tom...
Ella was happy to pose for me wearing a beautiful black feather in her hair that came into our lives attached to a hamper of delicious goodies from Brussels... It's been a lovely, relaxing evening that still continues... Frozen jaegermeister and chocolate mints. Delicious!
