It's my brother-in-law's 40th birthday party this weekend at a beautiful country house outside Selkirk.My birthday present to him is to cater the entire weekend. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for 30 (50 on Saturday night) from tomorrow night until Monday morning.

I've never done anything like this before. Gulp!

Luckily, I've been on holiday all week so have been doing a heap of prep. So far this week I've made a litre each of Tomato Ketchup, Brown Sauce and Blackberry compote. Tonight I made 3kg of Granola.

There really was only one place to look for the menu for this weekend and it was these two recipe books from Leon - the best fast food place I've ever come across. Healthy, tasty, quick and easy to bulk up to deal with the numbers we're dealing with.
