My Heart's On Fire. **


Well, not everyone can be a winner BUT I AM, I AM, I AM. Okay, alright, it was allegedly a team effort but we'll get to that in a minute. So, we had a step challenge at work in aid of the British Heart Foundation. We had to wear paedometers for, I dont know, 3 years and then register our steps. I walked the greatest number of steps in my team. Every week. We did not win.

What we did win, however, was Best Team Name. My team members and I are all Personal Assistants to Very Esteemed Management Types in our great US Institutional Investment Servicing Organisation. So when we registered and no-one could be bothered to think of a team name, I registered us as The PA-dometers. And I we won.

Today I spent the afternoon taking my bottles of wine round to my team.

Anyway, as you can call see, this is a picture of the bottle of wine I managed to keep hold of. Its pretty much the same picture as one I took before (9 July) - dont bother looking it up, it's the same as this. Bare-faced unoriginality is my defining blip style, I have realised.

In the circumstances, I think it would have been fitting to give us wine from Piedmont, from the foothills of the alps, something that complements cheese and suitable for plates of meat. But they didn't.
