Of boats and bombs
180 degrees around from yesterdays blip you will see this canal leading into the very center of Copenhagen. This is a less visited canal of the many that make up the town. On the left you have a genuine houseboat in the very heart of the city. In the rather dim background are two towers, the square one on the right was bombed by the English and the sharp pointy bit on top that was blown off was never replaced. I'll have to check my history books to tell you all the details.
The English have attacked Copenhagen a number of times (including WWII, in my street, in fact) the worst instance being the Brits were responsible for the first recorded act of terrorism upon civilians by firebombing the city without even declaring war first.
