Where's the party?

It's 5am, and Molly has woken me by demanding to be let out.

Job done, and I'm ready to go back up to bed. Jess is blocking the gate, hoping that I will stay down with them. Molly appears to accept that she has to go back to her bed - but past experience tells me that as soon as I persuade Jess to move and I open the gate, then Molly (like a rat up a drainpipe) will be up as fast as she can go.

If that happens (and she has taken me by surprise before) then the next thing is that she will be jumping up and down on the bed, Mrs jml will be wakened, and I will be in the doghouse!
