California Fall Colors

I really want to make this a series with shots from the Sierra Mountains. California fall colors can be beautiful, but the color comes and goes quickly. Especially at higher elevations.

Some people into landscape design call this "the common Maple." It's probably a mix with strong ties to the English Maple. This was in my neighborhood today and I couldn't resist exposing pixels to it.

Oh, a couple of folks correctly guessed a toaster for yesterday's blip mystery. We had to buy a new one as the old one broke. I was deficit for a blip from being ill, so I tried to make it interesting. Thanks for your participation. You're all very kind.
