The flight of the barn owl

Our little jaunt in the Lakes drew to a close today as we stumbled across a superb presentation on owls at the Brockhole Visitor Centre. The kids were thoroughly engaged in the entertaining talk about the various owls on show.

The excitement was raised to another level when they took it in turns to feed and fly the barn owl and the beaming smiles were a nice conclusion to a fantastic week away.
