Fire Escape

Had a domestic day in the garden, it was stinking hot and I've got a bit sunburnt. I never learn how fierce the sun is down here.

Barking and I popped into town again, under the excuse of looking for Christmas presents, found some cycling shorts for me. I failed to buy Christmas presents for anyone else.

Did spot this blip though so not all wasted.

Went for a kayak in high winds and beautiful sunshine. After battling upstream and into the wind for half an hour turned round expecting a nice easy cruise back. The wind dropped, the sun disappeared and it took longer to get back to the car than it had to get to my turnaround point. Funny how it works.
