Sunset

Worked from home today which was nice. Theory was crack on with a written report that I need to get completed this week. The reality was that I spent the early part of the day catching up with emails and things which had been flagged up by the demon which is our CRM system as in need of attention. Sat composing one final response before starting on the reprt and ping - the world shut down (again) No internet. o

This is when you realise just how much we rely on it these days. My to do list for the day featured

Complete web audit - internet required
Complete outstanding tasks - internet required
Contact company X - internet required
Do online banking for the month - guess what?
Book Tesco delivery slot - see above
Make new recipe curry for tea - recipe is online.....

We couldnt even phone BT or Tesco to see what the problem was - who has a good old fashioned yellow pages today??? No, we all jfgi as a matter of course

So I did what any sane person would and stepped away from the PC and made some rather tasty carrot and coriander soup :)

By about 1:30pm the situation was resolved (fingers crossed) and the day was not lost after all. I have a list by my side as I type which has a large tick against all of the above :)

The shot is taken just before it went dark for the night - around about 4:30pm. There is little chance of a shot like that tomorrow, apparently we are in for a soaking.
