Construction

It seems we are to have a Christmas Wonderland here in Chester this year and for at least the next two years as well. Work has begun constructing the 50 metre high big wheel which is being set up on the car park of the former County Hall. There will also be a skating rink and a Victorian Shopping Village.

This morning, as I was a little early for work, I popped into a well known coffee shop for a quick coffee. The young lady was quite chatty and asked about my (Scottish) accent. She then said "You smell nice." I hope that she was referring to my aftershave. It was a lovely way to start my day and she made an old man very happy.
