the family put up the christmas tree today. as usual, it was a joyous cacophany of four different songs all being sung at once while we maneuvered around one another. our tree is quite the hodgepodge of classic, store bought, and homemade decorations, and i wouldn't have it any other way.

this shot is of my brother, admiring himself in one of the bulbs. i don't think we really look like siblings, yet my extended family extensively discussed our similar noses, profiles, and hair the other night. do we look alike?

whether we look alike or not, i love him and the rest of my family so dearly.
