Order
In Hawaiian the word Pono means "perfect order". Ho'oponopono was a traditional Hawaiian practice conducted between people (e.g. within a family) to bring about mutual forgiveness. It stands for "setting to right" or "establishing order".
Someone expert in the practice, a third party, would be in charge and the expression of pain or dispute had to be followed by obligatory forgiveness.
Even by our modern standards it was (and for all I know, still is) an advanced practice. It deserves to be known about more widely.
