Here's the update on the car. As per my policy, I had to get the car over a mile from the house, which I did...the engine miraculously starting, but by the time we were a mile away the car was smelling of burning rubber. Not to worry, time for the insurance plan to kick in. Unfortunately not, the car was only 1/2 mile away from the house as they measure it - not as a car drives - but as a crow flies. Such slippery customers.
