Watercolours
Searching the attic for anything from the 'archives' is always time-consuming for me because I find interesting things I've forgotten about and spend hours reading old letters and looking at old photos. This was my mother's travelling watercolour set, which went everywhere with her - it was with her on her last trip the weekend before she died. I like the way the colour mix on one of the fold-out plates looks almost like a landscape.

I've just noticed that a year ago today I posted my 200th blip, so it's a kind of anniversary!
