Retreat

Got this Snowy Egret at the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay Wildlife Refuge. He is a member of the same bird family as the one shot on Sunday except that one is a Great White Egret. Other than obvious size the Snowy Egret has yellow feet and a black bill while the Great White Egret has black feet and a yellow bill.

When I saw him I was crossing the bridge and he was just under it. I got him just before he took off and then got this shot. I just love it when the water is still like this giving off the reflection. The tide was so low tonight there was barely any water out there. I guess that's why it was so still.
